Creating a log entry

Please note: you must have the "View Team Logs" permission to perform these actions.

Log entries are the individual submissions made under each log type. Entries can be recorded separately or as part of a collection, organized within a Log Guide.

Note: Log entries can only be made once you setup your log types.

To make an individual log entry:

Desktop steps

1. First, ensure you are on the Tasks view, then click the "View: Tasks" button.

2. Click "Team Logs".

3. Click the green "+" button.

4. Click "New Log Entry".

5. Select the Log Type you wish to make the entry for, then input the log entry. When you are finished click the "Submit Log" button.

Mobile steps

1. First, ensure you are on the Tasks view, then click the down arrow.

2. Tap "Team Logs".

3. Tap the three dots (ellipsis) at the top right.

4. Tap "New Log Entry".

5. Select the Log Type you wish to make the entry for, then input the log entry. When you are finished tap the "Submit Log" button.

To make a guide entry:

1. First, ensure you are on the Tasks view, then click the "View: Tasks" button.

2. Click "Team Logs".

3. Click the green "+" button.

4. Click "New Guide".

5. Select the guide you wish to make entries for. If there are no options to choose from, this indicates you have no guides created, or all of your existing guides are scheduled guides. More information on this can be found here.


6. The guide will now appear under the "Guides" header. You can begin filling out the individual log entries within the guide.

7. When you are finished you can preview all entires before submitting the guide by clicking the preview icon.

8. If everything looks good, click the "Submit Guide" button. The entries for that guide are then officially submitted.
