Creating a log guide
Updated over a week ago

Please note: you must have the "Edit Team Logs" permission to perform these actions.

Log guides are collections of log types. They can be scheduled to repeat or used as one-time submissions. For example, you could set up a repeating "Manager’s Log" guide that contains several log types your managers need to complete daily. Alternatively, you could create a one-off "Incident Report" guide for users to submit as incidents occur.

Log guides contain the following fields:

  • Name: The title of the guide.

  • Schedule: This defines how often the guide repeats (if applicable). Leaving the default setting as "None" allows the guide to be reused as one-off entries whenever needed. However, if you set a repeating schedule, the guide will be used strictly for scheduled purposes and cannot be used for one-off entries.

  • Members Assigned: The users who are assigned to the guide. Once a user is assigned to a guide, it becomes visible only to those assigned users and to users who have the "Edit Team Logs" permission.

  • Email Notifications: The emails setup to receive reports upon a guide being submitted.

  • Log Types: The log types associated with the guide.
