Recipes are the backbone of any operation, and opsi is designed to manage your recipe book in a simple, intuitive way. Below are the key features that make up recipes in opsi:

Recipe Hierarchy

Categories: Organize your recipes into categories such as Appetizers, Entrees, or Garde Manger. You have full control to create and manage categories as needed, which can also serve as virtual recipe books for easy reference.

Recipes: The core structure for any dish, containing all relevant details—ingredients, component recipes, prep methods, and any supporting information.

Component Recipes (sub recipes): Items of a recipe (ex. garlic aioli or cocktail sauce) which also contain their own ingredients and prep methods.

Ingredients: Items of a recipe that do not include their own prep method information (ex. salt or bay leaf).
