Setting a financial reporting period is required before taking your first inventory. This setting tells opsi how often you report a full inventory report for financial purposes (ex. calendar months).

By setting a reporting period, opsi is also able to send a reminder to you on days that an inventory count is due.

Fiscal Period Options

  • Calendar Months - Your fiscal periods will be structured according to calendar months. The Fiscal Start Date will then follow the calendar year.

  • 13-4 - 13 fiscal periods of 4 weeks each. This structure will begin on the Fiscal Start Date you set.

  • 4/4/5 - Fiscal periods of 4 weeks, 4 weeks, and 5 weeks in each quarter. This structure will begin on the Fiscal Start Date you set.

  • 4/5/4 - Fiscal periods of 4 weeks, 5 weeks, and 4 weeks in each quarter. This structure will begin on the Fiscal Start Date you set.

  • 5/4/4 - Fiscal periods of 5 weeks, 4 weeks, and 4 weeks in each quarter. This structure will begin on the Fiscal Start Date you set.
