Prep Lists are specifically designed for your food prep tasks, while Check Lists are designed for your typical routine tasks outside of food prep.
Prep Lists Overview
The structure of a Prep List is as follows:
Prep List: The top level element for which categories and tasks can be created within.
Category: A category is an important organizational element within Prep Lists. Categories contain tasks that need to be completed.
Task: Tasks are the pulse of Prep Lists. These are the actionable items that need to be completed within a Prep List.

Check Lists Overview
The structure of a Check List is as follows:
Check List: The top level element for which tasks and sub-tasks can be created within.
Task: Tasks are the actionable items that need to be completed within a Check List.
Sub-task: Sub-tasks can be created within tasks if your parent task requires multiple actionable sub-tasks within it. Sub-tasks are not required when making Check Lists.
